A fishing tournament with something for everyone.

The DJM Memorial Fishing tournament was created to honor a man who loved to fish. But more than catching, he valued the time with family & friends, the fun, and the memories made. On August 9, 2025 we will remember Dennis J. Mayne at the fifth annual “fair-weather fishing tournament” to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund.

We welcome anglers of all ages and skill levels for a day out on the water with friends. And while there will be recognition for the biggest fish, the real award will go to the boat who has the most fun!

Tournament Rules

Lines in at 8:00am, out at 12:00pm
Catches can be made on any tackle, assisted or unassisted — as long as the fish makes it into the boat!
Fishing area is limited to inside the nantucket sound
Largest fish will be determined by weight; Osterville Anglers Club will conduct a weigh-in outside of Crosby’s yacht yard from 1:00-3:00pm
Breaks for swimming, drinks, and snacks are highly encouraged
Reception
The Tournament reception will be held at The Osterville Anglers Club from 3:00-6:00PM
Snacks & libations will be available
A silent auction will be held from 3:00-5:00pm
Fishing Awards & Silent Auction Winners will be announced at 5:00pm

Each boat registration includes three individuals, plus the captain. Please register any additional anglers by donating $100/angler on the following registration page.
